Details

I have been studying and practicing photography for over 12 years.  In addition to consuming all the inspiration I can from the works and stories of other photographers in literature and museums, I have studied photography at Southern Methodist University and the Rocky Mountain School of Photography. I have been fortunate enough to visit over 40 different countries, many of which on multiple occasions, as well as all over the United States.  Whenever traveling, the focus is always on experiencing the culture, people, and local wonders through photographs.

My wife, Caitlin, and I love seeing the world and I am passionate about having the opportunity to capture unique images and share places near and far with others.  Spending much of our free time on some adventure or other, you will often see new updates to the available images and framed works here.  While I am the one behind the camera, Caitlin has a natural eye for the aesthetic, works as a design consultant, and enjoys helping someone match an image with a custom frame that will perfectly fit a space in your home or office.

If nothing else, we hope that this gallery will inspire you in your own adventures.  Maybe we'll see you there!

Cheers,

Akers
